Experimental Study on Variations of Surface Topography in Ball/Plane Contact

球/平面接触表面形貌变化的试验研究

Abstract:

Based on experiments, the influences of pressure, lubrication conditions and original surface topography on the surface topography variation of ball/plane contact were researched. Different original surfaces were used in the experiments. A series of ball/plane contact experiments under different pressures and different lubrication conditions were conducted. The surface of the specimens before and after the experiments were scanned by Talysurf CCI Lite Non-contact 3D optical profiler respectively, and characterized by ISO25178. The results show that the pressure, lubrication conditions, as well as the original topography of specimen have an obvious influence on the surface topography after the experiments, and the specific relationship among them is obtained.

摘要:

基于试验探究了球/平面接触过程中,正压力、润滑条件及原始表面形貌对试验后表面形貌的影响。试验中,采用不同原始表面,在不同压力、不同润滑条件下,完成了一系列球面与粗糙面的接触试验。试验前后分别使用Talysurf CCI Lite非接触式三维光学轮廓仪对试样表面进行了测量,并用ISO25178定义的参数对三维表面形貌进行了表征。研究结果表明,正压力、润滑条件和工件的原始形貌对试验后的表面形貌具有显著的影响,并给出了具体压力、润滑条件及原始表面形貌对塑性变形后表面形貌的影响关系。
