Research on New Multi-sectional Interval Codes Applied to Grating Measurements

应用于光栅测量的新型多段式距离码研究

Abstract:

The encoding method of a linear encoder used in precision position measurement was described. Based on studying the traditional interval coding method, a new multi-sectional interval code was proposed as a new interval coding method for linear encoder. This encoding method allowed that any two consecutive distance among the three adjacent reference marks were unique. The absolute position was confirmed by judging two adjacent interval distance. The new multi-sectional interval codes were compared with the traditional interval codes using the software MATLAB. It is concluded that the new multi-sectional interval codes have obvious advantages.

摘要:

介绍了应用于精密位置测量的光栅尺位移传感器的编码方法,根据对光栅尺传统距离码编码原理的研究,提出了一种新型距离码的编码方法——新型多段式距离码。这种编码方法使任意连续的3个参考标记之间的两段间隔距离是唯一的,可通过判断相邻的两段间隔距离来确定绝对位置。将这种编码方法与传统距离码作比较,并利用软件MATLAB建立数学模型,研究结果表明新型多段式距离码在精密位置测量上具有明显优势。
