Abstract:

In order to solve the discharge phenomenon in electrical hot incremental forming of DC04 low carbon steel sheet,a novel method of creating helical tool path for complex CAD model was proposed,which avoided cracks caused by discharge during the forming process.Experimental
results suggest that low forming speed with conventional contour tool path is necessary to avoid cracks,but reducing forming efficiency.
Employing helical tool path can avoid strong impact between the spaceman and forming tool.In addition,the proposed path can also be used in other kinds of  incremental sheet metal forming to remove the scarring.

摘要:

针对DC04钢板自阻电加热渐进成形中存在的放电击穿现象,提出了一种可适用于复杂模型的螺旋线成形轨迹生成方法,成功避免了制件在成形过程中因放电现象造成的破裂。相关试验表明,使用传统等高线成形轨迹时需要通过降低成形速度的方法避免破裂,导致成形效率较低,而使用螺旋线成形轨迹可以保证在成形速度较高时避免成形工具头与制件的剧烈撞击。此外,该方法生成的轨迹同样适用于其他类型的渐进成形,可以成功消除制件表面的进刀痕。
