Semantic Integration of Distributed Manufacturing Information System Based on OWL Ontology

基于OWL的分布式制造信息系统语义集成

Abstract:

Different descriptive criterion of units in distributed manufacturing information system (DMIS) will cause unshared information and unrealized function. To make the system work normally, the unit ontology was presented and its properties were described in OWL (Web Ontology Language), which was recommended by W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). Then system semantic was integrated and information was shared in the DMIS. Finally, the integration of information system based on OWL ontology was instantiated by a ceramics manufacturing information system. The application of OWL to semantic integration in DMIS resolves the problems of unrealized function suffers from different descriptive criterion.

摘要:

为了使制造信息系统能够实现正常的功能,建立了系统各单元的本体结构,并采用W3C推荐的本体描述语言标准OWL对单元属性进行描述,实现系统的语义集成和信息共享。以某陶瓷生产企业的信息系统为例,说明了OWL本体在语义集成中的作用。OWL在制造信息系统语义集成中的应用,解决了由单元属性描述差异造成的系统功能无法实现的问题。
