Study on Normal Tracking in NC Quick-point Grinding of Curve Parts

曲线点磨削中的砂轮法向跟踪研究

Abstract:

A new technology, which is called non-interference normal tracking for NC curve grinding was presented. By controlling the worktable to rotate in x-y plane, the superposition between the rotary surface of the grinding wheel and the normal vector of the curve was realized. Based on the geometric characteristic and the kinematic relationship between the wheel and the workpiece, a mathematic model was established and an algorithm for calculating the normal tracking angle was proposed. From simulations and experiments, it is shown that the normal tracking grinding can effectively overcome the problems lies in tranditional NC curve grinding.

摘要:

将快速点磨削技术引入到曲线磨削过程中,提出了曲线磨削中砂轮对工件轮廓实施法向跟踪磨削的新方法。该方法是在传统的曲线磨床的基础上,增加一个可以使工件相对于砂轮偏转的数控回转轴,实现砂轮对工件轮廓的法向跟踪磨削。在分析磨削运动关系的基础上,建立了砂轮法向跟踪的数学模型,并分别给出了无干涉情况下的完全法向跟踪和有干涉情况下的近似法向跟踪的法向跟踪角的算法。仿真和磨削实验结果表明:这种利用工件偏转来实现砂轮的法向跟踪磨削方法简单有效,能够有效避开砂轮和工件的干涉,提高加工精度和实现对任意复杂曲线轮廓的磨削加工。
