Elastic-platic Dynamics Explicit Analysis of Cold Ring Rolling Process 

环件冷辗扩弹塑性动力显式有限元分析

Abstract:

A elastic-plastic dynamics finite element method code RingForm was developed to analyze cold ring rolling process. The central difference method was introduced to solve dynamics explicit finite element equations. Strain state was estimated by the value of yield function of the last and the present time step. To reduce the accumulative difference caused by elastic-plastic constitutive relations,the radial return algorithm was employed.With comparison to the experimental results and the results obtained from ABAQUS,the cold ring rolling process of a ring part with rectangular section has been simulated to verify the accuracy and stability of the system solver.RingForm can correctly analyze the forming process for cold ring rolling, and can predict the parameters,such as axial width spread and end face flatness,of open cold ring rolling.

摘要:

开发了冷辗扩弹塑性专用有限元分析程序RingForm,设计了中心差分求解动力显式有限元方程的算法。程序利用前后时间步屈服函数的值判断应变状态,采用径向返回法更新应力以减小弹塑性本构关系造成的累积误差。模拟了矩形截面环件的冷辗扩过程,与实验结果和有限元软件ABAQUS的模拟结果进行比较,证明了RingForm程序的精确性和稳定性。RingForm程序可以准确地分析开式冷辗扩过程并预测环件的宽展和端面平整度等参数。
