摘要: 提出一种面向三维机械零件模型检索的手绘草图查询接口。首先,利用模型的法向量最大分布方向来辅助主成分分析(PCA)算法对三维模型的空间姿态进行旋转归一,使得模型投影视图和用户手绘草图的视角一致;然后采用一种二维图像相似性比较算法衡量用户草图和模型投影视图之间的相似性,从而得到与用户提交的查询草图相似的三维零件模型。实验结果表明所提出的手绘草图查询接口能够让用户快速地表达查询意图,且具有较高的检索准确性。

Abstract: A sketch query interface was proposed for retrieving 3D models of mechanical parts. The maximum normal distribution of a 3D model was computed to assist the principal component analysis(PCA) to normalize the orientation of the 3D model, and then the projected views of the 3D model could be coordinated with the free-hand sketches submitted by users. To retrieve the 3D models similar with the user sketches, an image similarity assessment algorithm was employed to compare the shape similarity between user sketches and the views of the model. Experiments demonstrate that users can express their query intentions through the proposed query interface rapidly with satisfactory retrieval performance.
