摘要:

给出了一种基于高光线弧长参数的求解高光线新算法。把传统的通过求解曲面与平面的交线来获取高光线的方法,转变为通过求解一阶常微分方程组初值问题,提高了算法效率。利用MATLAB中的ODE45函数进行了新算法的具体计算。最后,还给出了验证该算法有效性的实例,并对算法效率作了分析。

Abstract:

A new algorithm was presented herein to solve the highlight line, which was based on the arc-length parameterization.It transfers the traditional algorithm which uses surface-plane intersection to solve highlight lines, and improves the algorithm’s efficiency. In the new algorithm highlight line was obtained by numerically solving the initial-value problems for a system of first-order ordinary differential equations. Thereby, the new algorithm can be solved by ODE45 function of powerful MATLAB, which is based on adaptive 4-5-order Runge-Kutta algorithm.Finally, implementation examples
were also given to demonstrate its effectiveness and its efficiency was analyzed.
