摘要:

应用三维有限元法对铝合金方管的分流焊合挤压过程进行分析,揭示了挤压过程中金属的流动规律及纵向焊缝的形成过程,结果表明:对于分流孔形状复杂的模具,成形过程可分为镦粗、分流、分流孔剩余间隙填充、固态焊合和稳态挤压五个阶段;分流孔与坯料之间所封闭的气体将导致挤压制品表面产生缺陷;在焊合高度方向上,固态焊合最先发生在中部,上部金属最后焊合,导致分流桥下部有少量气体被封闭,致使在挤压开始阶段产生不良焊缝。最后以分流孔形状为目标函数,提出“规则截面”的优化措施,以避免制品表面产生缺陷。

Abstract:

A detailed analysis of metal flow into
a porthole die to produce a square aluminum alloy tube by means of three-dimensional FE simulation was performed.An insight into the metal flow rules and the
longitudinal weld seam formation were orchestrated subsequently.Corresponding to the variable-section-porthole of die,the process includes five distinctive stages of upsetting,
dividing,filling the clearance of portholes,solid welding and steady extruding.
The commonly observed defects on the extrudate surfaces are due to the entrapped air between porthole and work-piece during the stage of filing the clearance of portholes.The results also show, that solid welding first starts at the mid-height of welding room while the upper part is the last as a result of friction ,which also makes little air entrapped under the bridge in the upper part of the welding room causing poor welding quality at the beginning of an extrusion cycle.Finally, an improving project was proposed for the porthole design of “regular section” in order to avoid surface defects.
