Application of Hilbert-Huang Transform Analyzer in Feature Extraction for Mechanical Faults

摘要:

为了提高应用希尔伯特-黄变换(Hilbert-Huang transform,HHT)进行机械故障特征提取的便携性和效率,在Visual C++ 6.0平台上开发了HHT分析仪。比较了HHT中不同插值方法、端点延拓方法及停止准则的效率和精度,得出了不同算法的优缺点和适用场合,提出了不同算法的选用策略。将开发的分析仪与美国DynaDx公司的DataDemon中的HHT算法结果进行比较,验证了分析仪算法的正确性。最后,将分析仪应用在滚动轴承外圈故障和转子横向裂纹的分析中,准确提取了故障特征。

Abstract:

In order to improve the portability and efficiency of feature extraction for mechanical faults based on HHT, a HHT analyzer was developed on the Visual C++ 6.0 platform. And, the efficiency and precision of the different interpolation methods,end extending methods and stopping criterion were compared, and merits and faults of the algorithms in HHT were obtained. Then, the strategy of choosing different HHT algorithms was proposed. A comparison was made between this analyzer and the HHT algorithm of DataDemon from DynaDx Corporation, and the correctness of the algorithm was verified for the analyzer. At last, the signals of outside circle fault for rolling bearing and rotor running across were analyzed by the analyzer, and the fault characteristics are extracted effectively.
