    Active Vibration Control and Its Simulation of a Novel 2-DoF Flexible Parallel   Manipulator

    Mode theory and variable structure control were applied to design active vibration controller for a novel 2-DoF flexible parallel manipulator with piezoelectric actuators and sensors. The dynamics equations of
    the system were derived by using finite element method and mode theory.
    The sliding surface was determined by using optimization method according to the performance demands of the system,and the sliding controller was designed by applying Lyapunov direct method.The controller can suppress the first modes to fulfil the active vibration control of the manipulator.The simulation results show the controller can effectively attenuate elastic vibration caused by flexible parts,and reduce the displacement errors of mobile platform of the parallel manipulator, and it is feasible and effective.

    A design method of robot automatic drilling control system was forwarded based on upper computer and PLC.The robot automatic drilling system can drill the titanium alloy, aluminum alloy and laminated composites components of aircraft.Then the system framework,hardware module and software module were designed and analyzed according to the requirements and characteristics of the task. The results of the testing on-site show that the system can increase the drilling efficiency and assemble quality of the aircraft components immensely.

    This paper presented a kind of NC machine tool thermal error measurement point optimization method based on partial correlation analysis. The thermal error modeling of NC machine tool commonly uses multiple linear regression method. In multiple linear regression modeling, because of the interaction among the independent variables, the relationship among the independent variables and the dependent variables are no longer perfect matched by the simple correlation coefficient. Here the partial correlation analysis was used to select optimal temperature variables, optimal layout of the temperature measuring point was achieved, and a multiple linear regression optimization model for NC machine tool thermal errors was established. The accuracy and robustness of the error modeling are improved.

    A compliant electrothermal microgripper design and size optimization
    method was proposed herein.First of all,the compliant mechanism of microgripper was selected based on type synthesis of kinematic chain and pseudo-rigid-body
    method.Then,with the element division of the compliant mechanism,the stiffness model
     was established.Finally,the geometric size of the microgripper was optimized.
    The design and size optimization of a compliant microgripper driven by a V-shaped electrothermal actuator was presented to describe this method.The optimal results analysed by the finite element software-ANSYS satisfy the design requirements.The comparisons
    between optimal results and manual adjustment ones indicate that the former have better performance and the method is efficient and reliable.
    Study on Overcuts of NC-Electrochemical Finish Machining for Integral Impeller Blades

    The overcut was caused by the twisted blades while integral impeller with ruled-surface blades were electrochemically finish machined using linear edged simple cathode. To solve this problem, a method-to adjust moving path of the cathode-was put forward. With this aim, firstly the fitting surface of ruled-surface blade with given data was discussed. Then the equation of movement displacement of four axis was deduced in order to design the numerical control (NC) machining program after the surface of blade was discretized. Moreover, through studying geometric characteristics of the blade surface, one cause of overcut was analysed - when blade with twisted ruled-surface was machined by the cathode with certain width. So moving path of the cathode was redesigned according to the amount of the overcut. Finally the integral impeller blades meeting the requirements were electrochemically machined.

    The analyses and tests about the relationship between wear and thermoelectric potential of YW2 cemented carbide inserts were finished herein.The experimental results prove that the thermoelectric potentials E of the same mark cemented carbides are
    very different,the thermoelectric potential E and the wear value VB of YW2 cemented carbide inserts are of very closely relationship, and the bigger thermoelectric potential E,the more serious wear for YW2 cemented carbide inserts.

    Aimed at welding requirements for fillet welding in narrow space of large scale structures, this paper put forward one new kind mobile welding robot system based on rotating arc sensor, which included wheeled mobile body, two-dimensional motion platform, rotating arc sensor and ultrasonic sensor. The system used two stage track strategies, one was the robot body rough tracking, the other was the two-dimensional motion platform accurate tracking. Rotating arc sensor was used as the seam tracking sensor, ultrasonic sensor was used as obstacle avoidance sensors.The kinematic model was established and the parameter self-tuning fuzzy controller was designed. Experimental results show that the robot system can achieve automatic welding for big fillet welding in narrow spaces.

    Based on elastic mechanics and by means of thick-walled-cylinder theory, this paper established a calculating model with interference fit on conic thread
    connections and the radial stress and deformation on contact tooth surface were
    obtained. As a calculation example of P-110S and using the large finite element analysis software ABAQUS, a finite element model with elastic-plastic axisymmetric contact problem was built up and the stress distribution and deformation on thread teeth were analyzed under different kinds of conditions, such as interference and interference fit with tensile load process.

     A novel solution for two dimensional irregular part nesting which combined with PSO was presented. Firstly, presenting swapping sequence and variation of angle as velocity of particles to reconstruct PSO for the optimal solution of layout, then using dynamic remaining rectangle matching for decoding the permutation of nesting pattern and orthogonal accessing algorithm to realize automatic nesting. Its effectiveness has been fairly proved in practice.

    An exacted conjugate algorithm based on elastic deformation of flexspline was presented herein with exact calculations of the rotation angles. In meshing part, the actual conjugate location of tooth shape in deflected form was calculated by iterative method. The corresponding rotation angle on undeformed output end was determined according to the equal length on neutral line as that prior to bending. The correctness and effectiveness of proposed algorithm were demonstrated by examples in which the conjugate domains and conjugate tooth profiles were calculated in harmonic drivers driven by 5 commonly used wave generations, and the differences of the approximation were given. As a whole, the approximation causes significant influence for conjugated domain, but little difference for conjugate tooth profile.

    By analyzing the corresponding relationship between product disassembly sequence planning and constraint satisfaction problems, a product disassembly sequence planning was mapped into a constraint satisfaction problems based on product disassembly hybrid graph model. Then the processes and algorithms of the product disassembly sequence planning were given based on constraint satisfaction problems using backtracking algorithm. Finally, a simplified dishwasher door example was given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.

Then the extension theory was introduced into extension definition of product quality, process quality and the mapping. And the theory and methods of quantitative metrics,extension analysis and priority calculation of the mapping between product quality and process quality were put forward. Finally, these methods were applied in mapping analysis of bearing quality, and the analysis results discover the relationships between the bearing quality and the grinding process characteristic parameters. This research is of great significance for quality planning, quality control, quality decision-making and quality improvement.

     According to the structural features and working principles of rotary kiln, a finite element model of vertical preheater was built. Then the convection heat transfer coefficient was deduced on the theory of heat transfer. On the simulation analysis of heat transfer of the vertical preheater based on Flotran of ANSYS, the influences of arrangement model and dutyfactor of limestones on the temperature field, speed of the air and the temperature rise of the limestones were obtained. Some rules were found. And the influences on the temperature exerted by structure of the vertical preheater were analyzed. The results show that the main parameters which influence the temperature rise of the limestone are the convection heat transfer coefficient. Changing the structure of the vertical preheater can improve the heat efficiency effectively when the convection heat transfer coefficient cannot be easily changed.

    For the path optimization of a spray painting robot in complex curved surface,sush as ruled surface,the spray gun 2D model was obtained by experimental data,
    and the spray gun 3D model was deduced in crown face.The method of least square approximation for ruled surface was proposed, ruled surface fractionized into the combination of crown face, the trajectory optimization problem in ruled surface can be approximated as crown face surface to deal with,and trajectory optimization objective function was established in each crown face, the calculation method of coating thickness and optimization algorithms were developed to integrate the trajectories on the intersecting area of two patch.
    Finally, simulation results verify the segmentation algorithm and the mathematical model are valid, to prove out the spray gun trajectory optimization methods and compared to
    traditional methods.
    The coating uniformity can be effectively increased in curvature of a larger surface,and
    the number of sub-chip can be effectively reduced under the premise of ensuring the accuracy of spraying.

    The signal-to-noise ratio and testing precision can be effectively improved with the usage of pulse compression technique in the ultrasonic transducer excitation and receiving process. After introducing the basic principles of pulse compression technique, the influences of its key parameters on echo main lobe width, amplitude and distance resolution were analyzed. Experiments were done with transducers of different bandwidths. Theoretical analyses and experimental results indicate that the broadband transducers have a better pulse compression capability. The signal-to-noise ratio and the testing resolution can be greatly improved in ultrasonic testing with the application of pulse compressing technique. 

    Intergranular corrosion for diffusion bonded joints and base materials of 316L stainless steel was investigated by double loop EPR test. The results show that reactivation ratio of diffusion bonded joint is less than that of base material. That is, diffusion bonded specimen has more excellent intergranular corrosion resistance compared to base material. Among parameters such as regression potential, solution temperature, solution concentration and scan velocity, the regression potential has the biggest effect on reactivation ratio. Intergranular corrosion resistance of 316L stainless steel decreases with decreasing regression potential.
