    An analytical confirmation was presented for whether the non-over constrained 5-DOF parallel manipulators were existed,that is still an open diffcult problem in the mechanism field.Firstly,the property,number and linear relationship of constraints for constructing 2 type of 5-DOF parallel manipulators were analyzed.Based on the screw theory,the analytical conditions for existence of such mechanism
    was
    obtained.It proves that mechanism can be constructed by 3 limbs.Finally,the conditions of constraint vectors for constructing non-over 5-DOF parallel manipulators are given,
    and a design example is given to explain the constraint conditions.

    :The obstacle-navigation method of a mobile robot control system for extra high power transmission lines inspection was
    presented. According to the inspection task requirements,a control mode which
    combined remote-control with local autonomy was applied for the robot to travel along the wires and navigate obstacles. Localization method and visual servoing arithmetic based on single camera was adopt to achieve the automative obstacle-navigation control.The
    experimental results show that the robot can travel
    along the wires,and navigate obstacles autonomously and prove that the control system design is valid and reasonable.

    It is important to generate ellipse motion on the stator driving-surface of ultrasonic motor in order to drive the motor.The characteristics of the ellipse
    motion affecte the properties of the motor directly.The ellipse motion of the driving points for cylinder type multi-DOF ultrasonic motor and its characteristics were outlined
    firstly.Then the formula of the ellipse declining angle was put forward.The relation
    between the ellipse declining angle and the contact angle was analyzed,and the
    optimum contact angle was obtained.The methods of satisfying the optimum
    contact angle were suggested.Finally,the output properties of the motor,affected by the contact angle,
    were analyzed through experiments.

    The direct algorithm of generalized predictive control was applied in the electro-hydraulic servo system of cold rolling mill, which adopted stochastic gradient estimate algorithm to estimate parameters of the controller on-line. It avoided on-line solving the Diophantine
    equation and reduced the on-line calculation time. Based on the discrete
    controlled autoregressive integrated moving average(CARIMA) model,the control algorithm was combined with merits of the adaptive control,which made the control system
    possess the excellent robustness and the intelligent capability.The simulation result indicates that its control effect is better than that of PID control which is comprehensively used in strip production.The adopted control strategy makes the dynamic quality of the system be improved largely.The response time and the control precision are improved too. 

    To efficiently evaluate design
    reconfigurable machining system performance such as quality,a model-based method was proposed to predict part dimensional variations. The model for serial
    multi-stage machining systems(MMS) described variations propagation between workstations through synthesizing the setup errors(including fixture error,datum error) and machining errors in each station. As for 3-2-1 locating scheme,the relationship
    among fixture errors,datum errors,and respective operational variations were expounded. According to CAD and CAPP information of the part,
    the prediction model was constructed and dimensional variations in MMS (serial, parallel,or hybrid) can be quickly evaluated by Monte Carlo simulation.
    The application of the prediction method was illustrated with three differently configured machining systems.

    To solve the problems of low speed and precision of micropipette movement, a novel digital piercing and withdrawing micropipette device (DPWMD) was
    presented for microinjection. By piezo-ceramic actuators’ low frequency vibration,
    impact inertial force driven by controllable pulse sequence was produced.On the drive of inertial force and friction force alternately, the micro-motion was generated by the DPWMD,
    step by step. The moving performance of DPWMD was tested. Digital piercing and with drawing micropipette device was applied in mouse oocyte microinjection experiment. The motion precision came to nanometer.The processing parameters were digitally controllable.The DPWMD can automatically complete micromanipulation, including piercing cell membrane speedily,penetrating into cellular some areas accurately,and withdrawing micropipette rapidly.

    A robust multiscale algorithm of hierarchical estimation for gradient-based motion estimation was proposed,by a combination of robust estimation
    method and multiscale technique. In such a multiscale approach of hierarchical estimation, the motions at each level of the pyramid were estimated by using different gradient filters.Robust estimators were applied at each level of the pyramid to overcome the problem of outliers,caused by illumination variations and motion discontinuities in motion estimation,thus the estimator accuracy was further improved. Experimental simulations show that the new algorithm provides a significant improvement in estimator accuracy,and achieves computational speedups for motion measurement of MEMS image in the presence of noise.

    Reliability sensitivity of jib with bending and torsion stiffness failure modes was proposed. Sensitivity formulas of system reliability of structure with two failure modes were deduced. The problem of inconsistency of basic random variables between different failure modes was resolved. The computer procedure was programmed, through which the sensitivity information of structure reliability to mean values, variances and correlation coefficients of basic variables can be quickly and exactly obtained.

    Combining experimental solution and CFD analyses,a method
    to appraise noise of poppet valve was studied.The poppet valve used in experiments
    by Oshima and Ichikawa,was analyzed by using CFD method.Corresponding pressure and velocity distribution on valve seat of different degrees between poppet and seat
    are obtained under conditions of flow in and flow out respectively.Consulting the noise characteristic curves obtained by experiments,CFD solution was analyzed by weighted integral method.A noise appraisal index of poppet valve was found based on pressure distribution and backflow of vortex shedding. An effective method was proposed to appraise the noise of hydraulic poppet valve.This method was used in appraising the noise of real poppet valves,then the appraisal results are consistent with the experimental ones,and its feasibility is proved.

    The adaptive optimal decoupling control method of helicopter rotor concordant loading system was discussed. After combining the optimal control theory with Gauss basis function cerebellar model articulation controller(GCMAC)
    neural network,an optimal control strategy on electro-hydraulic loading system
    was proposed,which made the closed-loop system gradually stable.
    The structure of concordant loading system was analyzed, and the
    mathematical model of the
    rotor’s coupling relation was established. Based on the above conclusions,adaptive optimal decoupling control strategy was proposed,which efficiently eliminated
    coupling effect and improved loading instruction’s track precision. The results of simulation show that this concordant loading decoupling control strategy is effective
    and has higher tracking precision for loading instruction.

    The distribution of a 3-RRR spherical parallel
    manipulator’s workspace was analyzed when the three branches were in different distributions.The three branche equal spaced distribution of the traditional spherical
    parallel manipulator was changed to unequal spaced distribution.A new waist joint based on three branche unequal spaced distribution spherical parallel manipulator was
    given.The reasonable design parameters were chosen,and an integrated design scheme of the waist joint was confirmed.The analyses of the results show that the novel waist joint is
    characterized by large curve angle and is particularly suitable for certain applications in
    humanoid robot related to the workspace.

    and job shop scheduling was constructed in the integrated model.An integrated model of distributed and dynamic process planning and job shop scheduling was proposed.
    It’s combined process planning with dynamic rolling windows scheduling based on
    period and event-driven.The improved particle swarm algorithm which
    was dispersed to suit for job shop schedule was introduced to job shop scheduling operation.Consequently, the function of job shop scheduling and control of the integration module was realized. Finally,feasibility and validity of the integrated system was validated by an example.

    Through analyzing the deficiency of existed clustering method,
    a customization customers dynamic clustering method was proposed for DFMC

    according to functional and structural model.Utilizing object-oriented technologies, functions as feature properties of product family were enveloped into product family structure and a functional and structural model of product family was established.Applying clustering theory elicited from ant self-clustering action, an algorithm of customization customers dynamic clustering based on function and structure ant tree was designed. In the
    algorithm,classified pattern adopted functional and structural model of product family, and the sets of dynamic customization customers were taken as pattern sampling. In the end, the proposed dynamic clustering method was used to classify customization customers of Paver on self-developed Construction Machinery-oriented Product Customization Service Platform. Experiments show that the veracity of proposed algorithm is high and the dynamic classifications intuitively
    reflect customer requirement changes of each function and structure module. 

    A new method was proposed based on Formal Concept Analysis at the product family planning stage, and the context of product family semantic

    For satisfying the condition that the number of sources is strictly requested in blind source separation(BSS),a method for estimating the number of sources based on the non-negative matrix factorization was presented.It can exactly estimate the number of sources, when the number of sensors is more than or equal to that of the sources, whatever the source signals are correlative or not.     Based on a special coordinate system,the normal sprocket profile was modified.
    A new sprocket profile was derived by integrating the involute and beeline.
    The model of silent chains,consisted of a pair of sprockets and chain,was developed by Pro/E. The high-speed dynamic simulation and analysis for the silent chain system
    were achieved,based on ADAMS. The results show that the new type of sprocket can reduce the meshing impact and the velocity waving between driven wheel and chain.

    The new running-in specifications of transmission,having the strengthening effect,was estimated by the results of strengthening under low amplitude load of single tooth bending of cylindrical gear.The experimental results show that the fatigue life of transmission gears can be improved about 40% if the optimal strengthening load acts as the running-in load in new running-in specifications while the other running-in parameters are not changed.

    Using the finite element method,an elastic-plastic asperity contact model was developed to analyze the contact performance characteristics of nitrided steel, hard coating material,and homogenous material. Plastic yielding and strain-hardening properties of the materials were taken into account. The von Mises yield criterion
    was used to determine the inception of plastic deformation. Effects of gradient yield strength on contact pressure, real area of contact, average gap of rough surface, and von Mises stress distribution under elastic-plastic contact conditions were
    investigated and discussed numerically. Results indicate that nitride steel alters the distributions of contact stress, contact pressure,real contact area,and the gap between rough surfaces,compared with homogeneous materials in contact. Furthermore, when the hard nitrided layer is sufficient thick, contact characteristics become independent of the path of the yield strength variation, and are dominated by the yield strength of nitrided layer.

    This paper was to discuss the elastic deformation of rollers and interaction between work rollers and the strip during the roller milling process of a 4-h mill,by analyzing stress and deformation of rollers,put forwards a concise and practicable mathematic model of roller gap’s shape,which resulted from some relevant factors, such as rolling pressure, bending force and so on. At the same time, to validate the accuracy of the model, the theoretical calculation of the crown of the strip of a aluminum hot tandem rolling mill was made by this model and the relative crown was practically measured on-line. The application results show that the model is precise, and the error between the computation and experimental results is narrower(less than 15%).This model can be afforded the elements for the control and academic elements on modeling of crown for a aluminum hot tandem rolling mill and can be used to forecast the strip’s shape at the exit and convenience on studying crown on the strip.

    Reaction mechanism of non-thermal plasma treating diesel engine exhaust was discussed, and three non-thermal plasma reactors of different configuration were presented. Comparative experiments on diesel engine were carried out.The experimental results show that.Non-thermal plasma can decompose particulate matter and convert NO to NO2 in diesel exhaust effectively,non-thermal plasma reactors of full-flow have better treating results and higher energy utilization efficiency than those non-thermal plasma reactors of part-flow.Prolonging the exhaust’s staying time in the non-thermal plasma reactors can improve the conversion ratio of harmful matters such as particulate matter,NO.

    Based on the ground’s vertical linear pressure,and by the theories and methods of vector analysis in mathematics and mechanics,the calculation formulas of relationship among instantaneous steering center,resistance moment,tractive force needed,consumed power and the position of vehicle’s gravity,steering radius,moving velocity,moving acceleration,vehicle’s orientation on ramp,
    when the vehicle being on ramp were derived.Based on these,the corresponding procedures were compiled and an actual analysis on an actual tracked vehicle was made.Then,the curves of the relationships among these parameters
    were made,the rules were analysed and the contrast with the steering on horizontal road surface was made. The reference for distributing the moment and power between two driving sprocket wheel of the tracked vehicle is provided.
